Sony Camera App WhiteWalls

This is an unofficial PlayMemories app for Sony cameras that automates the acquisition of a large number of images with possibly differing shutter speeds. Multiple images with the same shutter speed can be averaged to suppress noise (see our White Walls paper). For those looking into HDR photography and exposure bracketing, the ability to automatically acquire images with different exposure times might also be of interest.

Code

The code is based on the OpenMemories-Framework and can be installed on a Sony camera through reverse engineered tools.
